Not gluten free, neither are pop tarts really. I considered those as a refeed option but waaaaaay too much fucking fat.

every 5 to 7 days on what I do. But since I've just been doing weight training I've been dialing back maintenance cals on a weekly basis similar to what Cory is doing until I find a sweet spot to where I feel like death right before the refeed, but it's hard for me to go under 140g of protein because I don't want to lose the wrong weight.

bcaa's are only going to help so much.

Up the protein and nix the fat, then. I don't understand why you can't do that on Carbnite protocols.

Not to troll but Silock had 18g the other day. Or did you mean on a consistent basis versus on a cycling diet like UD 2.0? Or maybe you think Drew is on the sauce?

It's not sustainable... At least not without fucking up your hormonal balance...

On a total intake that low, 37g is fine, but it should definitely be closer to 50 on a normal caloric intake.

Refeeds can vary from 2-3 a week to every other week... Very independent but I'm on a Saturday refeed schedule myself...

A refeed is simply a day you increase your carbs but still stay within your calorie range, so you drop fats and proteins...

My training day macros are
75/440/250
Refeed macros are
70/540/175

i have no videos of me benching, my spotter is needed to make sure I don't decapitate myself, I know I don't have a fucking big chest. I'm working on it.

Right now I am following a powerlifting scheme for 5/3/1 it's fucking weird but it's not destroying me like normal 5/3/1 was.

5/3/1 day goes like

40%x5 warm up
50%x5 warm up
60%x3 warm up
70%x3
80%x3
90%x3
85%x1
92.5%x1

5x day is
40,50%x5 warm up
60%x3 warm up
66,75,85%x5

1x day is
40%x5 warm up
50%x5 warm up
60%x3 warm up
75%x5
85%x3
95%x1
85%x1
95%x1

the deload day is pretty similar.

40,40,40,40,50,60%x5

Right now this is just the first cycle since I'm giving this a run for the first time. I tried using the cube method so I didn't have a week where I was slaying myself and a week where I go to the gym to spin my wheels, but it was difficult to do a max on one thing without a spotter and then deload on another lift then do accessory work.

Main lifts are

bench, strict press, front squat, back squat, deadlift, power clean

After doing any of the main lifts I just do appropriate accessory work.
concentric, eccentric sets, negatives, drop sets, yada yada.

I think you should do as much weight as you can while cutting to 160ish

Right now weekly I am trying to cut back 50-60 calories depending on how wiped out I feel or how full of energy I feel. I started around 1800 and I'm down to 1620 right now, but I'm not going to go too low as long as I am still seeing steady losses 1lb weekly average.

Strength is definitely coming back after the month off, so I will adjust the programming accordingly if I feel it's too light. I want it to be challenging.

Sorry I'm still fat.

Do 50+ year old women have those lifting numbers though? haha not that they're impressive at all.

The first go around I bothered with keeping them under 100g of fat. The fallout didn't notice any different. Now instead of just being a total glutten, I just eat my fill, whatevers left over I throw away or I keep in the freezer.

You guys clearly didn't read what I ate on the last 5 carbnites. But you see that I am making progress yes?

Eat the same kind of shit and have been for the last 5 weeks, I'm at a deficit now during maintenance and have thrown in hiit at least an hours worth weekly along with a steady state hike on the weekends.

With the lifting program posted on the previous page, obviously the lifts that hit the central nervous system the hardest are done first, and blowouts are done before the next refeed.

Similar to what Andrew is doing to blow out his glycogen, however I don't get a 3 day structured refeed.

Cleaner foods that are lower gi, will stall progress. And of course I could eat 10 sweet potatoes which aren't high gi at all and feel like shit the whole day, but where is the fun in that?

Do some basic jiu jitsu afterwards. It's a great way to end a workout.
