Ugh it's too hot, I can't sleep, too uncomfortable.
Woman, you were sleeping with the comforter on Tuesday night!

AC has been on since yesterday. So weak, couldn't resist.
This. Turned it on Tuesday evening before bed. 4 people in teh house with seasonal allergies... fuck open windows. (I'm just jealous of those with their windows wide open)

No A/C needed here yet, did get up to 26 inside with 45% humidity. Not bad.
Ran the furnace fan.

Out of curiosity, what exactly do you do? I presume your fan is always set to "auto". Do you keep it on "heat mode" (ie don't put it in "cool mode" which will trigger the a/c) but set the temp all the way down and then switch from auto fan to always on fan?

You should be able to control just the blower on the furnace. I know I can with my Nest.

All thermostats should have a "fan" setting. That's all you do, Fan "on" and that's it. I have a nest and I run the fun during mid peak and then again after on peak times. Doesn't really do much in the way of dropping temps, but it helps control humidity and circulate the air.
