Well, finally got the pig dyno'd. I never did do a baseline, so I have no idea how much power my goodies added.
No sense in farting around:
Looks like 106 HP @ around 8800rpm & 71ft-lbs of torque almost across the board.
Now, why the sad face? I've got Dale's Stage II jet kit, K&N pods, timing advancer, and his high pipe slip on. I installed all with the recommended base settings, and over a period of 6 months, adjusted the needles up and down to get rid of stumble.
I thought I'd be closer to 115hp and a little bit more torque. The Dyno guy said that it was corrected HP for sea level and all that but to be honest, I've seen a million dyno graphs and this one just doesn't seem to have much info. No Barometric pressure, humidity, temp so I could at least plug some #'s in and recalculate. I think we're at around 1100 feet or so, and it was about 60ish this morning.
Looks like I'll be getting Dale's stepped header (Dale Walker, Holeshot Performance) sooner than I thought. The only thing the Dyno operator mentioned that it looked a little lean at cruise. So, I can dial in maybe a 1/4 turn out on the A/F screws to see if it helps that but otherwise, I think I have everything set to where it needs to be.

Seems strong to me, but I have a warped view. If I had another 40 wheel hp and 30lb/ft I would have to redifine fast for myself. Actually I keep knocking around the idea of either buying a new Bandit 1250S for a second bike, or selling they SV to get a Bandit. I kind of want something better suited to long hauls.

Going about tuning fuel by specifying a target AFR is not the best idea.
Also, I can't comment about your cruise AFR, since it is not indicated on a dyno chart. The best thing you could do, is get a wideband o2 controller, put it on the bike, and make some changes. Cruise & idle = stoichiometric or leaner, unless it doesn't idle nicely at stoich. With carbs everything is a balancing act and you probably couldn't make any changes without fucking up the top-end perfection you've achieved.
Maximum power AFR is a function of brake specific fuel consumption (which is influenced by VE, other efficiencies and losses, combustion chamber shape, etc.) On a bike, maybe you are able to really play with fuel to a point of perfection, but on a car, fueling is a means of thermal management and ignition timing determines power. You always run rich of WOT best power.

Well, yep...as far as car's go, you're shooting for ~12.5:1 or so...if you were at 12.8, it would be a big deal to try and get another few tenths on way or the other.
The thing I'd caution you against doing is trying to fiddle with air/fuel mixture screws in any way, shape, or form to get the AFR you want. 1) It won't make a significant difference in the mixture at full power. 2) It may significantly worsen the part throttle/idle performance of the bike. 3) It may worsen the throttle response, likely inducing another bog/stumble. From the sounds of it, you didn't do too much...BUT, you could be being crutched along by colder/denser/less humid air too. Always approach fiddling with mixture screws VERY cautiously.
IF for some reason you can't find the jet's you need....do it the old school way. Drill them out. There are generally reference charts that'll show what each jet correlates to as far as drill bit sizes. IF the red line is truly 13:1 (which it perhaps is...you might actually get a little back-fire running 14.7:1 under full power), I'm not so sure I'd touch it...perhaps going up one, perhaps two sizes at most. If the line DOES represent 14.7:1, then safely go up two sizes and leave alone until you can check the full-power AFR on a dyno again. You might go anywhere from 2-6 sizes bigger (though I think 2-3 would net you something pretty close).
