You gotta work it
Work heavy incline
Get a spotter and start upping the weight, if u can do 225 ur not far off 250 then 275 etc
yea i dont have a spotter regular enough on chest days. thats pretty much been my problem. Currently on 225x5 doing them by myself. With a spot and a good lifting day i could probably throw up 250 for 1. But i am also just coming back from a 3 week hiatus from having exercise headaches. 300 is my goal for the end of winter.

? how so.
Decent deadlifts, but, lets be honest, deadlifts are the easiest of the 3 lifts to go heavy on, and that wasnt even very heavy. Of course not, it's only 90 percent of my training max anyway.
How bought a 3 plate bench video? That's stupid, two plates would fall off of one side due to the imbalance. Or were you implying that I'm capable of benching 315lbs? That's funny. I never claimed to be good at bench, best I've ever done was 245 for 3 reps and 2 of them were slightly spotted.
Stop dressing like an attention whore at the gym. My workout socks are all dirty, and I always wear a headband because I hate sweat in my eyes when I workout.
I feel strong for my size. But I'm hiring a trainer for my squats. I simply CAN'T get those numbers up. A simple strength routine is always going to be halted when the technique is not there. I personally think you would be better off seeing if you had any olympic lifting/power lifting coaches in your area that you could train under. You'll see your numbers fly through the roof. Especially with their training splits.
I see Carbnite is out the window. Now what?
Debatable, I am still looking into carb back loading at this time but until then I'm just going to focus on some macro's set by iifym 160p/270c/67-80f
I'm not going to jump on the UD2.0 wagon as it's fairly similar to carbnite imo and I personally feel carb cycling works to a certain extent but also builds up some wicked cravings. Plus Drew doesn't have to deal with stupid people or sitting in traffic for hours. I don't see that path working well for me!
I am open to suggestions, but right now just trying to detox and eliminate processed shit for a bit, or the huge abundance I was eating. For a week or 2.
You gotta work it, Work heavy incline I shoot for hypertrophy with pause sets, and negatives. I would like to get a set of chains or a bamboo bar to help build my chest up.

I want him to succeed. His latest excuse in his blog is that "people are full of shit and fast/starve and want to look small"
Who?
He needs to get lean and then work on serious strength to get big Telling Wayne his dieting protocol sucks is a losing battle man...
Sorry I don't have a dieting coach dick cheese.

Don't need one, or I should say...you shouldn't need one.
But you need a trainer to fix your lifts?

Wayne, I mentioned a dietitian, trainer, nutritionist previously because it could be beneficial.
You asked why it would be needed?
You also previously stated that maybe fitness/dieting wasn't your thing. Well...it is their thing. Maybe having a professional outline a plan would sink in?
Just a thought.
Nothing wrong w/ seeking help for specific lifts. One of my close friends is a full time trainer. I've gone to him several times for dieting/workout advice, tips, etc. He knows his shit and makes bank.
exactly, I had a professional nutritionist before.
It's fucking expensive. Would rather just use all of the information out there on the net, most of them use software that plugs in numbers anyway it's not like they dig deep down into some treasure chest to pull out shining armor tailored to you.

I honestly don't think you have the ability to strictly follow anything.
I appreciate your honesty. You must've missed where I cut out dairy, and processed foods, etc for 2 months. If it didn't have a face or wasn't a plant I didn't eat it.
No sugars or sweetners and even cut out caffeine.

also I'll give this thread some time to formulate. I'm sure nobody will post anything so I'll continue doing my reading.
I do appreciate any input, but the jillian michaels posts need to honestly die.
2 whole months? How in the world did you ever get through that?
There was 1500 dollars riding on it, so there was that. Someone who was wearing sweat suits and fasting 18 hours a day and eating 1000 calories a day beat me however. =/

My advice aside/in addition from what was posted above:
Cardio - 150 minutes a week to start. Be it 30 minute runs, 60 minute bikes, just add some.
Weights - 4 days per week. I'd simply do a full 5-3-1 with accessory lifts.
Food - Eggs, lean meat, potatoes, rice, vegetables, whole grain bread, milk, yogurt, fruit and protein powder. This is almost all I eat save for some sauces/spreads.
Pick your protein, add vegetables and then fill with side dish to get to your caloric limit. So a 180 gram chicken breast would be 200 calories, then say 100 calories of veggies, so your potatoes or rice would be 200 calories. Desert for me is cherries, strawberries or blueberries.
In this case I'd have 3x500 calorie meals with 1-2 protein powder shakes.

IBF please post something that I don't have to watch calories or do cardio.
please see the post above where I said nut up or shut up. I've already added in 30 minute cardio sessions, 400cal goal on stair machine in intervals before weight training.

You comments just shows how temporary everything you do really is.
Cool if sarcasm is all you have to add at this point then you can go back to diesels thread or arts thread and admire them for how strong they look. or formulate your posts when you have tony little spotting you on the bench.

IF would destroy that titty fat.
But you don't have the fortitude for that.
Did IF, it's seriously not hard at all. However macro's were not complacent, ended up maintaining.
And Art, 2300 is a defecit if I'm burning 1300 calories a night. Anything lower is stupid, but again put something together I'll follow it and you'll either sink or swim as the dietician here.
lay it on me big daddy.

You didn't do it correctly and run at a deficit. Another fail.
My previous comment was in regards to what you were actually eating. Eat like shit, get shit results. It's simple. You'll have to just drive past your favorite cupcake shop.

honestly, just live a healthy lifestyle and don't pig out. ride the bike, hit the bag, lift the weights. eat sensible and enjoy yourself.
i don't expect that you'll look like art or diesel in 6 weeks, but you'll be a hell of a lot happier than you are right now. you seem frustrated that you're not at their level. do shit that you enjoy (if that's crossfit then so be it) and quit looking for affirmation from a bunch of clowns on the internet.

pretty straight forward. Not sure why there is some caveat of US having to man up when 137 is the one with a 42DD chest
just start doing shit like above. theres no eye of newt secret sauce recipe. Its just consistently working out and keeping things in check. have the odd pig out day if you need it(within reason) and you will lose. yes its slow. you argue about dont want to fast or crash diet. No need...but on the other hand a 500 yrs plan to lose weight wont help you either.
the basics are there. And they take the slow time you are looking for. You may lose some strength on a deficit. everyone is different and will react differently.
but while trying to burn more fat so what if you lose some strength? Are you competing? is it putting food on the table for you? no thats right so who cares if your deads drop to 350 or something. boo hoo. Wont look as badass in the gym? who gives a flying fuck. No one cares there either way.
*you are so against fasting/"extreme" diets. Ok cool...but on the opposite end of the spectrum you are cool with binge eating and shovelling massive amts of carbs down your gullet every week. dafuq*
