Body panels? .do it right.
A bit of an oxymoron, spray can and body panels doing it right? No.
Even if you give them your paint colour you will not never get an exact match. Like someone said for a black car it will be decent as it's easier colour to match (at least one of the easiest). Anything else, it will look like shit regardless unless blended properly, even then it's tough.
Just saying.

What I am saying is if you are doing an actual body panel repair it's best to go to a body shop. For a lip/side skirt or fixing up a beater use fucking tremclad...otherwise you are pissing your money away.
I've yet to see a *decent* job that came out of a can.

Sherwin Williams in missisauga. Then head to my apartment for beers bro!!
Seriously its $15 a can for oem paint code. I did my old civic urethane parts to colour match. I even bought the flex primer from them.

Do all carquests do custom spray cans or only certain ones? I think most can do spray bombs(of acrylic) but the oem paint was consolidated to the concord location iirc. thats why I drove there.

Yep, and the rust will be back next year and your panel looks like every other Sri Lankan's car who rattled canned their car
THrowing good money at bad, but whatever I've done it too.

You can't do anything, best is to use that rust inhibitor primer on the rust only, touch it up with paint, and then rust proof it. Should hold off for a while as long as you keep oiling it up. Doing this mickey mouse sh!t is a waste of time.
