LMAO
Cheapness JBL?
Uh ok, price check 2x P1222, GTO1201.1II and GTO75.4 for yourself.
-1 For wheels? Why's that? Don't like the brand? Color ...everything?
So badass radar being...Escort Passport? ...
I mean I thank you for your opinion...but give me some sort of constructive criticism here. Not just random negative things.
There are no orange lights in the dash, they are red...and I don't have them on that bright.

trunk setup looks nice
inside, the 1 din looks kinda wierd / incomplete, but I guess there aren't really any solutions to that other than DVD / Navi
the cord for the radar looks really out of place, if you are willing to put a notch in one of your dash panels you could just run the cable up, through that little panel under your HU, around your HU, and then out the back right side of the massive dash panel that covers the speedometer, so that ugly cable is mostly hidden.

As far as the single DIN, yeah...it looks very clean though inside. I will probably get Navi here in the future. I am going to be driving across country in March or so anyways to a place I've never been to so that'll help.
The cord for the radar is right in the way (sorta), I was thinking of taking the Dash piece off and putting the cord down in between that and the car and doing like what you had said.
I sound deadened my license plate today, did a double layer. Before I just had the plate on with 2 top screws. LOL...yeah it rattled bad.
Haven't tested it with all 4 screws and a double layer of B-Quiet.
We'll see tomorrow.

Actually there is a decent amount of trunk space left. The shop told me to just put a blanket down or something if I am gonna load that back area up so that it won't screw up the vinyl. That's why we got that panel there so that we won't scratch up the glass and whatnot.
Thanks guys! -Andre

I don't understand... did you do this to go deaf or something?
Hell, the stock sound system is loud as hell as it is, and you get trunk space to boot...
Well either way I do have to admit it looks nice, just a little overkill lol.
Get an escort solo 2 radar detector. It uses batteries which last really long. It's only $300 too, so jump on it.

Yeah it is a bit overkill lol but...I'm that goofy kid that "did that" haha...thanks for the comments guys.
As far as the radar goes, I definitely agree with the cord all slung over the place looks nasty. I just don't know how to fix it.
Installing it above the rear view mirror...is that a bit much? Like...doesn't it need to get a clear path out the back of the window too? And that high up?
I'd have to go out in my car and take a look but I think that's really high...but maybe it looks better that way.
Also hard-wire it? How...? Like...it's a cig radar, should I cut the cig thing off and then take those wires and put them in with a fuse or something? Maybe there is a DIY somewhere.
Thanks again guys! -Andre

The trunk install looks really nice, but like most people said the dash kit dosen't really do much for a single din radio. I've only done 2 decks in the nes Civics, and both cases customers went with Double Dins. The only thing in the trunk I'm not a huge fan of is the JBL on the sides of the Subs. They seem a little too close, but it still does look good.
As far as the radar...hardwiring it is simple. that spral cord is nothing but a pain to hide, so your going to have to cut most of it off. Inside will be 2 wires...To find polarity of the wires, the easiest way (if you don't have access to a DMM)is to disassemble the cig. plug and trace where the wires go. The center of the cig lighter is + and the 2 prongs on the side are -. Once you have the wires exposed and know what's + and -, extend them to your power source and ground and you should be set. Don't forget to fuse the power lead.

You reallly need a body kit and some fancy taillights to complete your ride.
I will say the truck setup is nice, but its heavy as hell. Also, JBL? WTF and since when is JBL a good brand? Hell 3 years ago JBL was kinda like buying shit at walmart.

love the trunk setup but just wondering the point of buying the si model if you are going to weigh it down with 200-300 lbs of stereo shit

I like the custom work done. Jbl isn't too bad a brand. They've done audio for a long long time. Don't know why people hate on it but to each his own. My license plate rattles like hell to. The rear deck where the speakers are rattles like crazy too. I need some dynamat. But over all I like it except all the neons.

Tastefully done, but not my cup of tea. Also, as stated above, change out the single din setup with at least a navi screen or a head unit that flips open so it covers up the empty space. The only constructive feedback is your sound system is done, so work on performance mods now...
