Sometimes a bitch to plan out ordering from Germany, timing customs, and buying the right stage.
Stick to whatever your using. If you want to switch brands, you should mix it (e.g. 50% Brand A, 50% Brand B and slowly transition).
This one is also well rated. Both have pros & cons, but these 2 brands suggested have more pros than cons compared to the domestic "crap".
I think you mentioned you eat organic when possible? So why not your baby?

So learned yesterday that some formulas (we're using Enfamil) can cause constipation and diapers aren't meant to hold two days worth of poop. Once at capacity, it starts leaking out of the legs, then out of the onsie, and then onto whatever he's sitting on - in this case, my wife.
Wife starts freaking out and stands up, some of it drops on the floor, and rushes him to the change table upstairs. Chucks the kid onto the table, flings off her shitty shirt, grazing the wall at the same time and starts the cleaning process.
So there. That's how it ended up on the wall.

Happy Wednesday peeps!
Your story reminds me of our first kid - she was 1-2 months old and that was by far the worst diaper change gone wrong (even comparing w/ the second kid).
We were in a condo so the kid's room is pretty small - the change table was immediately next to the bed on one side of the room.
I still remember the Wife telling me what happened (I was just getting home from work when I walked into the epic mess): she had just given the kid a bath, took her back to the change table, toweled her off and was just reaching for a diaper and liquified poo shot out of my kid's ass in true projectile fashion.
The result: - liquified poo sprayed on the towel (luckily, it was covering the bed, so surprisingly no poo drips made it on the sheets) - the side of the change table (because when fluids shot out in a projectile motion, once it looses force (pressure), it will dribble) - and any remnants on the change table, change pad - random specks of poo on the wall
From that day on, I learned as a parent on how to pre-treat messes like this on clothes / linen and not leave any permanent stains: cold water, detergent (i used hand soap) and a whole lot of frickin' scrubbing. It's worked for blood, puke and of course poo. Too bad the poo never came off the drywall.
Oh and we moved not too long after that. I hope the new owners repainted when he moved in. LOL

Whisky Tango Foxtrot
You win.
I will take whatever expels from my kid splatter on me, but I will not have that in my mouth.
I've also caught puke w/ my bare hands more than I can count.

If you guys have central vac, the best nasal aspirator is the one that connects to your central vac. Unfortunately we no longer have central vac and the adapter doesn't work with the Dyson so need to suck it out with my mouth and hope the paper filter does its job.

This is what I use for all my kids to suck our their boogers. Works great! If you're not a wuss and can really suck (nohomo) you can clear them up nicely. Yes they hate it, yes its a little torturous, but it works and they can breathe and sleep better.

Thanks, nice to hear.
I am debating of extending her mat leave if possible because if this continues on past 12 months it won't be sustainable.

Things get better at around month 9. Babies get way more fun at that time cause they should sleeping better and they're more interactive. Extend that mat leave cause it's time that you'll never get back.

Thanks for the reminder, still on the premade Enfamil stuff right now, but my wife's supply increased nicely so we haven't been buying as much.
Not sure if I want to rock the boat with switching formulas again.

Switched to a PC brand organic formula that my wife researched, no corn syrup as sweetener. Seems to be working pretty well.
It will be nice to spend a fraction of what we spent on formula going forward.
