Scott - you're processing has a different feel to it IMO this year and I like it. Your 3 pics from Elk park feel brighter and less yellow/orangish (maybe it's just the spring greens but things still feel more alive).

So, a few years ago, I asked Doug to send me a picture that I can work on in hopes that he sends some work my way. The main reason was to have something to do in downtime at work. He sent me the upper left image, and I spent the rest of the day cleaning up the helmet. Work then got super busy for about a month straight, and I forgot all about it until yesterday while I was browsing through random folders. I finished it up, and came out with this.

Probably about 8 hours. Cleaning up the helmet, chest plate, and voice box thing took about 95% of the time.
Yeah... tried to thin him out a little, but when I did it more than I have there it started throwing the perspective off.

One of my pics made it to network TV, albeit worst show evAr. The background pic is mine...taken in Baltimore. Just curious, how'd they get your pic? Was it an assignment or did they see it somewhere and contact you?
A friend of mine runs the studio and hired me to go and snap pics of the skyline. That would be the 2nd time I actually got paid for work with this camera. First time was his wedding.

Scott - I agree that the last one has the best exposure and most realistic colors except the greens are starting to get a little bright, but still better overall. I did like the cropping on the previous ones though.

More like the Bobby Fischer of the CSI photog community.
Very smart guy who has all the tools to make beautiful pictures and has a very strong technical knowledge of the craft as well as the technology. He also had a strong point of view on most things and turned some people off with his candor. He was often the target of silver spoon jokes.
Since last year he has withdrawn and you rarely see anything from him. Now he is best described as an enigma.

I think it was the way I sent him payment for the SB-28 I bought from him. I drew a hairy dick cumming on the shipping address, and added "sexual favours" or something along those lines to the check. His mail man handed the letter to him directly, and said he's never seen anything like that in his life, lol.
