Yeah my car just randomly stopped starting, put the key in to get her going, but nothing, the dash lights wouldn't even come on at all. i though it might be dead battery but my alarm still worked fine. Like half an hour after that i went to try it again and it worked perfectly (well perfectly for my piece of shit that is :/). Any ideas?

yeah i know how to turn it on, no lights came on or anything, my deck resets itself.

you have a bad connection or a bad ground. invest in a solder gun and some heat shrink and get rid of your butt connectors.
