Maybe some ex SRT4 guys can help with this one.

I installed a plastic intake manifold to replace my aluminum version on my 03 PT GT, its supposed to be worth ~9whp. Also replaced the injectors with "stage 1", the only other non stock part is the MAP sensor that was attached to the manifold.

Now it turns over fine but won't even sputter. Sounds like the fuel pump powers up and I pulled a plug, it seemed to be firing ok. The plug was dry as a bone too. Leads me to believe I don't have fuel.

Any suggestions? The only code I get is 0522, oil pressure sensor voltage low. I'm not sure this would cause a no start though. (the sensors go bad fairly often on these)

Any suggestions?

You don't need a tune to go along with those stage I injectors?

I have a Predator tuner ready to go. It should start and idle fine with the bigger injectors (they are only 10% bigger)

I'd check for a loose electrical connection on or near the bits you messed with. /you probably already did that.

Double checking never hurts. Its on my list.

Here's what I'm going to do:
reset pcm by unplugging battery
check wiring/plugs
switch MAP sensor back to original
check fuel pressure
check coil
check neutral safety switch
fuses, relays
cam sensor, crank sensor

Its gotta be something like a loose connection/bad sensor or it wouldn't be 100% no fire.

I'd lean against bad sensor (except MAP) since they were fine yesterday.

I pissed around with it this afternoon and sensors, plugs, fuses and relays checked out. Reset the pcm with no luck either. So I went ahead and swapped back to the stock fuel rail/injectors and it fired right up.

All's well that ends well.

Maybe the computer shuts down power to the injectors when it detects a bad one to keep from burning out a coil pack?

/guessing

It's not like it'll matter in the grand scheme to go from 300whp to 330whp capable injectors when I'll probably top out at less than 250whp...

Anybody wanna buy some stage 1's?
