Same. Different mentality I suppose. I give no fucks about what I put up, as long as I look and feel how I want.

On my 3+ set of deadlifts today, I absolutely shredded my shins. I only did 13 reps but I must have hit my shins each time. After the set was finished I looked at my legs and I had a line of blood down each shin into my shoe This big guy who had just finished doing full squats with 315 (perfect form) looked at me and said "damn dude, can I jump in there with you?"

Next week I'm going to make sure I don't have a brand new bar that feels like sandpaper \:\)

Wayne my macros won't work for you... You need your own...

And I lol when I read that you think you're losing fat AND building muscle mass... You've been in this game long enough where you're not building size on a deficit...

The 2 functions are almost impossible to achieve simultaneously... Unless you're a compete noob that's never trained in your life...

I can get you results in 3-4 months if you listen to me when you're done with this phase...

Its cool thats why I get density scans done. Everyone throws theoretical numbers around 3 times I have provided density/hydrostatic. Not much you can say when I have proof and unbiased readings of my skelatal mass while others are giving numbers off their free protein order site calipers.

You actually think you're building muscle mass and losing fat all the time...? You're fucking delusional... You do realize that "lean mass" isn't just muscle...?

And while I have no empirical evidence, those scans have degrees of variability, depending on you as well as the machine...

You've lost some fat but you're still at a very high bodyfat percentage...

Dude seriously though, you have years of posting about this. Years. You have blogs and YouTube dedicated to it.

And you're still neither big, jacked, cut, buff, etc

Before you go all buck wild with insults and attacks, think about this from other people's point of view. It's clear you don't have a clue what you're doing.

It's very frustrating.

Can you even bench your own body weight?

I actually think the whole carbnite thing is legit, if followed correctly. I don't agree with the assload of useless substances and inhaling 10 donuts during the said "carbnites", but I get the gist.

Yeah, I guess my free protein calipers are BS as well, except a professional BB trainer measured me and my shredded figure at the time says different? Derppppppp.

But I'm in Wayne's corner, I'd just like to see some significant results from all of this.

What's not? Legit or followed correctly?

I'm just basing my opinion off some casual research I've been doing while bored at work.

It's not "legit"... The ONLY thing that makes any sense is the caloric deficit (which is partially negated by removing 90% of the carbs from your diet and replacing with obscene amounts of fat ), and the "refeed" which has mental and physical merit but is negated by the "bingeing" that it allows you to do...

This is nothing more than an Atkins with a weekly binge...

Any "diet" that restricts any one macro is bullshit... Fad diets can work short term but are not going to be sustainable...

I used the term "legit", meaning if followed correctly will see desirable results. How is that not legit? Again, this is based on simple research, testimonials, before and afters that I've found randomly.

You did this same thing when I brought up Leangains in the past. People give names to workout/diet plans. This is nothing new. You can word the actual carbnite program anyway you like. Some people prefer to have structure, plan, program, etc. like this to help to stick with it.

Structure is what you make it... Any diet can have structure... Following some bullshit "timing" is fucking hilarious...

And worrying about your insulin and cortisol levels is FUCKING RETARDED too...

imho theres really only two semi important times...your before workout meal and after workout meal(shake whatever)...(again depends on when you work out...say mid afternoon/eve)

but even then you dont need to be stressing over it. just have something half decent.

that whole carbnite whatever seems like a lot of work and over thinking though imho but if OP is into it and hes getting results..ah well. who cares. Let him keep doing it.

we shouldnt worry so much about nit picking the process and worry more about results. (if you were professional than sure nitpick the process...or if someone is a noob and way off base)

let him do his thing and the rest of us can do whatever it is we do.

speaking of which I had the very first almost pass out moment. after deads I went right into shoulder press with dumbbells .. went to heavy. my grip was gassed and going from that deep press on the first push I got about 7/8ths there (struggling big time without breathing right))..room started to slowly spin...eject eject eject..put the weights down chilled for a few. grabbed a lighter weight Ive never had that happen before. dont forget to keep breathing folks!

The variance of ingredients depends on you really... I'd give it a try sometime, has to be blended though, impossible to stir. gak city!!!

As far as any response killerbee has to this thread he is now being ignored. Fucktart.

And 98, no reason to go back and forth with Cory, I think he sometimes forgets that he was big and masculine under that winter coat he ate himself into, so all he did was uncover basement fat. It's not like he had to kill himself to get back to where he's at.

I have no doubt in my mind, he doesn't know a good way to drop weight. I've looked at his diet when he was cutting weight like an idiot, almost 62lbs lost. Now I see he's around 40lbs lost with his bulk, then he has to cut again.

I know lean mass isn't just relative to your muscles... that's a stupid statement.

But when you lose lean mass, that same "mass" you're talking about is lost with a cut. So when you lose lean mass on your liver, heart, lungs, stomach and other internal muscles that make your body function.

How much healthier are you making yourself by making your vital lean tissue weaker? #LEANGAINS

Also sorry I didn't take more pictures 98...

I could ask you the same in regards to ingesting 400 grams of fat in one #carbnite.

I can't answer that since I've never needed to cut a ton of weight. I got a new doctor a few months ago. He was pleased with my overall health and we even discussed fasting briefly. More and more I've been seeing articles pop up discussing the health benefits of IF.

WTF? losing weight doesn't hurt your heart, liver, lungs etc. In fact, it typically improves their function. It's not like we're all on a muscle chewing diets here.

thats because you dont know anything about physiology :p

But more from "second go" for diezel. He laid down the ground work a while ago. He may have let himself go but that shit does not just disappear overnight..not even yrs unless you have unlucky genes and he clearly doesnt (with that respect)

strength definitely goes down but your body can hang onto muscle mass quite well and for a while even when its unused and covered in fat.

Him jumping back into the game was an easier place to start at. The neural pathways have already been programmed, his muscles know wtf is going on. They just need to be reminded and used a bit again and it will be back to its former glory in a much quicker time frame than if you are starting with an untrained individual.

Diezels body has been there before.

Look guys I was FAT... And while I had a base underneath, after 5 years muscle does atrophy if not being utilized...

You r seen my fat pic and it speaks for itself... I didn't use any crazy meal timing or delete macros from my diet to make the transformation... I did 1 week of low carb at the very end of my cut... Magic isn't neccesary...

Training plays a role too... Progressive overload is needed to build new muscle...

My end of my cut at 192 pics are nothing impressive... I've gained about 20 pounds since July while keeping myself "relatively" lean...

What were your macro's during the cut and what were they on the bulk (quick averages)?

Also, did you do any cardio?

I don't recall my exact macros on my cut but by the end I was around 1800 cals a day on average... Would give myself a "cheat day" at the end of the week but kept it within reason...

I was hitting cardio about 4-5 sessions for about 300-400 cals per session...

Wayne I really hate to do this to you BUT...

Cliffs:

The body can store fat WITHOUT the presence of insulin through acylation stimulating protein... That kinda shoots a huge ass whole in your whole carb night thing bro... Of course common sense tells you that the presence of protein in your diet creates an insulin response as well but we'll gloss over that for now...

So this whole timing thing again is utter nonsensical...
