If that engine doesn't work, remove it and replace with ?what? that has 4x more power?

It lives!! Took a bit of work to get everything sorted, ended up rebuilding the carb and then it fired right up. Ran out of daylight, so hopefully tomorrow I can get do a bit of tuning. Oh, and I need to fix the brakes. Should probably do that first.

You need a new seat. Who knows what kind of fart particles reside there.
I scoured the universe to find this for you, I hope you enjoy, sir.

Riding a Vespa led me to purchasing my 636. I love 2 wheels and forever will.

Love those chopped legshields. Mine's pretty much the polar opposite of that one lols.
In other news, I picked up a set of S1s today. Which led to me breaking down the split rims to swap the tires. Which then led to some quality time with the angle grinder and wire wheel. Which got caught in my hair and took a chunk out of my left cheek. That was awesome. Whatever, chicks dig scars.
Anyways, not sure what color to paint the wheels. I have a couple cans of light silver wheel paint lying around, but I'm considering oven baked Krylon epoxy in industrial gray for better durability.

Got tires mounted today with no further mishap, man they're night and day from the OEM tires. Got the brakes done too, not a huge improvement but at least I can stop now. Thing is riding pretty sweet, now I just gotta fuck with the tuning a bit more.
So Scott, another totally random question. My headlight is now operating intermittently. It was working just fine when I had the dead battery wired in, but I put in a new batt, and now the headlight works sometimes. Probably a short, but figured I'd ask to see if it's a known issue.

Well it was a simple enough fix, couple of shorted wires in the headset, fixed the headlight and the horn in less than 5 min. I love these things. Took it out for a 30 mile ride today, haven't had that much fun in a long time...
So now that I've got the mechanicals squared away, it's time to start thinking about some mods. First thing on my mind is a new exhaust, I'm debating between a rebranded RZ MKII for $235, or a 226 Hot Wing for $500. The other option is to upgrade suspension with a Bitubo front shock. Or maybe a 24 carb...

I'll post some new pics tomorrow, it's currently in pieces in my yard, receiving a bit of bodywork and paint. Hope to be done tomorrow afternoon, didn't bother taking any progress pics cause it's pretty boring. Clean, sand, spray. Repeat. Over and over.
