I actually tried myself. Nothing like limestone quarry mud. Shit would NOT come off. It was just thick pasty slurry basically.

Brook trout, part of the char family. I wish I could have gotten a bit more sharpness out of that photo but highpass only does so much

I don't know, I thought it looked alright.

Okay, riddle me this, I'm trying to go back in Photoshop to access the previous layers to try to make some adjustments to the hue/saturation, exposure, etc and when I go to the panels to change the sliders, the changes are not taking place. What did I do wrong? Maybe it's because I did a layer merge on the second layer where I did the hue/saturation, exposure, and contrast/brightness adjustments?

As long as you do a layer merge, all bets are off \:\) so you gotta delete the merged layers, go fix what you want fixed and then merge again.

okay, how about this one? didn't touch orange at all, just reduced the saturation and vibrance. By the way, I am editing on a macbook pro, maybe I should invest in a monitor??? I did calibrate the lcd too...

I don't know if you can go back thru history; not sure if that's saved inside the psd because everytime i open my wip psd's, the history starts fresh.

A friend of mine, who is an actor, needed some new head shots done for his agency.

No makeup...he didn't want to wear any, since the point is to show how you actually look in these, so minor cleanup was done.
