not really.. given the parity of the league, it actually is better to really spread out the picks now than before the salary cap era, where you can load up more on a team cause they clearly had way more talent than the teams they'd be facing.

i just picked up a graded/cased NM7 (psa graded) gretzky rookie for $296CDN shipped (in the US). nice! same card here goes for $500-600cdn. \:\)

found him dead in his apartment, no autopsy yet.
my guess it drug overdose or perhaps something fault with heart or brain (never know what the body does after some of the beatings his body has taken)

Leafs just picked up Liles from the Avalanche for a 2nd rounder.

So, the leafs got Colborne, Liles and the 30th pick for Kaberle.
