wtf, that's quite the change.
George used to be a solid tv personality before he became as mainstream as he is. I don't watch much TV in general, but I saw him interview Bob Rae not too long ago and it was pretty sh!tty to watch, he didn't feel genuine. It's like watching that Rick Campanelli idiot on ET Canada, I am more focused on jumping through the TV and curb stomping him so he would STFU.

George definitely isn't bad, in fact I was a fan for YEARS back and then I recently saw the Bob Rae interview and I didn't know what to take away from it.
I was at the Italian Chamber of commerce awards 2 years back and Capanelli was the host, he acted the same as he does on ET Canada. Even the Italians were embarrassed.

You are probably right  I think he is a fan doe, obviously he is no MacLean, but who knows 
I think if he doesn't try to take over the show, it could be a pretty interesting combination... Ron just has so many hockey facts it's insane, always has a comeback to Cherry or something witty to say. I think Rogers is crazy to give a guy like that up.

i heard tonight that mclean will still be doing coaches corner at least (in addition to whatever other capacity he'll serve as already mentioned in this thread)
After seeing the new conference or whatever MacLean will be doing some weird Sunday night hockeytown bullshit. No more Sat night for him (At least this is what I gathered from it)
