Not that I am complaining. I don't think the Leafs are in a position to really take on that kind of contract considering we don't know what kind of team we really have.

i have to say i agree with burkie's statements about bullshit end year contracts. essentially tacking on 3-5yrs on the end just to "work the numbers"...where the team will essentially just buy the guy out. pretty ghey. he's almost 32, already had a recent concussion....he'll be very good for what, another 3 yrs MAX? then from 36+ meh...nothing special, that's not rebuilding.

of course id love ot have him at centre, but not for an overinflated price that's for sure.

now stamkos, hell fuckin yes sell teh farm. his numbers since a rookie are awesome...granted he has awesome linemates now, would be cool to see him "home" in TO. i'd hope he can put up numbers like he did in tbay. we'd prob have togive him 8.5-10.5 mil a year tho for 10 yrs lol.

it's crazy what most B-rated players have got in the past 2days.

montreal gives erik cole like 18mil? lol wtf? fail.
bryzgalov is now the highest paid goalie AND PLAYER in the league?!? duuurrr

2 yrs. no biggie imo. Probably overpaid by 2 mill or so...there isn't much C out there. Expensive but lets hope he can get the puck to kessel.

Depending on the rules I might join. I run a 50$ money one on yahoo that I think we might need 1 or 2 more GM's. I will check back here for rules for the CSi pool, and if anyone wants info on the money pool just post up or PM me.

just went through the pre-order draft list...ummm wtf is up with some of yahoo's ratings this season?? - i better not let auto-fail-draft pick for me this season again lol, wanna do it myself. though just to be safe i edited like 200 players, and man...i had to bump lotsa guys up that were way to low IMO. tim thomas 60th? though mostly the rookies were wayyy to low...and some dudes have easy 30+ goals and even more assists, duurrr.
