Thanks dude, I really did enjoy that weekend. Wish I could be around real racecars more often, not that drifting isn't cool for what it is, but it just doesn't hold a candle to ALMS.

from my first "official" shoot (other than my own kids). This was with 4 kids ranging from ages 5 to 16. Had to work with the environment I had, which was the clubhouse in my neighborhood. Bought a backdrop but didn't like how those pictures turned out but I do like these. Thoughts? Sorry for the big pics... Oh used the ab800 camera right in those

slight correction...it's the older model lens, not the latest.

1/50th and can still go a bit slower. That IS continually impresses me.

Actually that setup was not under the continuous lights. For that one it was just one big strobe with a softbox and my 430 EX II on a flash bracket for fill.

But for the other one, we used this set of lights:

Not really sophisticated, but they did a nice job. With the 430 for fill, everything was good. The color temp runs a little to the cool/fluorescent side, but not too bad. Nothing lightroom can't handle in 5 seconds. I'll add that this was in a warehouse with no existing lights whatsoever and all the windows boarded up.
