I'm guessing by the line, positioning and eyes the guy is starting into a chicane so the eyes looking that far forward is good technique.

It is soft, I think it's more motion blur than focus issue (1/200th at 400 mm of a flying bird) but I like the feel of it, so I went with it anyway.

Admittedly, NOT the sharpest or best focused pic I've ever taken, and it's cropped, but perfect timing on the bullet coming out of the gun. Not photoshopped in any way, that's the actual bullet making that line coming out of the gun. I shot over 650 pics of people firing guns that day and got 2 with this effect.

scoot on a serious note, how do you get so close to these animals? Im guessing even with a 70-200 you would have to be within 15-20 feet for that pic. I know its not like your big ass is gonna sneak up on them.

Is all this stuff pretty close to where you live? I guess its just fascinating to me being a city folk,cause i go crazy if i see little possum or an armadillo run across the road.
