yeah srsly, even im shocked. well have to admit the leafs are playing better since the allstar break (they always suck dec-jan but pull it together feb-march into april), but who knows....prob not enough though. they also need to hope other teams slide, which isnt always a given.

man kaberle is SOOO being traded to the bruins soon lol!

oh and even if we do slide into the playoffs...in 8th place that is...we'd get swept by philly so fuckin fast lol.

yea, well, they've beaten the right teams (the ones they are chasing) so far.

but even if we finish 9th, things will be ok IMO, cause the pick we gave to the bruins will be a lower pick.

wow.. bruins aren't done yet.. i think they'll still possibly trade away the leaf's pick for something of substantial value. Unless they don't have anymore cap space.

well, if the leafs continue on this pace, they'll probably be 10th in the standings? so the pick isn't that great anymore for boston.

and at the same time, if boston goes all the way, the pick we got is crappy.. but still worth something to another team maybe.

well, the player we got back from boston was their first round pick back in 2008. 16th overall, on paper looks like what we need. a tall centermen.

as for trade deadline day today...kinda quiet thus far, no big names it seems. richards a maybe to edm or LA (prob not LA though lol), doubt NY or leafs will get him either. prob stay in dallas.
