distance, distance, and more distance basically. just running til i actually hit a breaking point. pushing my body til it shuts down you might want to re-consider that...don't train till your body shuts down
i'm just at a point to where i want to keep challenging my body(my body looks alot better than it did 2months ago since i got into weight training along w running)
last year my goal i completed was running 32miles in one week. that showed me that if i put my mind to something, there is no limit to what i can't do.
got back into running about a month and a half ago. started out at 4miles and now i'm 7miles in an hour w no problem

That's different than running until you collapse.
Set a goal like that now. Push it up to 40 miles in a week. Build a routine around that until you reach your goal. THEN set a new one. Don't just run until you can't. That's stupid.

What earphones are you guys using? I havent been able to find a pair I like yet. Ear buds dont stay in my ear well enough, and the pair of JVC I just picked up are uncomfortable as hell

a good pair of buds will have different size "pads" or inserts or whatever you want to call them. size accordingly.
Doesn't work for me. The medium is a little to small and the large is to big

ran 5.5miles this morning. took me 40mins but i've noticed a few things
the 7.2mile route near my job is primarily all flat thus resulting in sub 1hr times. the 4.4mile route by my apartment has various elevation changes where it is 60% uphill and 40% downhill and i've noticed that impacts my time more than i anticipated to where it ends up taking the same amount of time as running the 7mile route.
Hills suck but are awesome to boost your cardio.
