You overestimated how fast the waves would be traveling... Hence why it was easier to capture the people at the speed with which the waves were actually traveling, which turned out to be slower than your original estimate. Hence, I'M RIGHT DAMMIT

You like this better? Boiling it down to personal preference...I think I still like the additional yellow. There were lots of dandelions in the grass, which aren't that apparent because the grass is pushing the limits of the histogram.

Bob, it looks good, there's just something off about it. I think it's because the levels of contrast really aren't uniform between the sky and the rest of the image i.e. the trees, and the brick on the house.

I love everything about that shot photo-wise, I just think it's too busy of a background for that particular car. It just get's lost. Now if the car was black it would work, but the red and white and everything about that particular car just gets lost IMO. Again I pretty much love it - great shot.
Actually that goes for the Suby pic too - I love everything but that car in the pic. It really needs a brighter color car IMO. Hell switch the two cars in each pic and I think they'd be badical awesomeness!!!

Not too bad Kyle. I wish you had cleaned off the hood of the Subaru, unless that's just the actual condition of the clear coat lol... The 240 shot is a tad too wide. New lens is 11-16 you say? That (IMO) is way too wide to be used on cars, even on a cropped sensor. Also, watch the edges of your masks, I can see haloing... It's especially evident on the third pic. Tsk tsk tsk! Time to put down the Lightroom, and pick up the Photoshop.

 cheers, scott I like it Scott, but I am totally distracted by the arch in the background. I'm not one to edit others pictures, but might i suggest a crop that takes the sky out entirely? keeping just the bridge down in the frame?

I need a new job so I can afford lighting  Then make reflectors from aluminium foil, take multiple exposures for different parts of the car, and/or get yourself a $100 strobe. Time to put down the Lightroom, and pick up the Photoshop. Nate a.k.a. joining the big boy's club, lol
Lol where do $100 strobe's exist?
And I do use photoshop, just not as much as I probably should...
