Indeed. I had to drop my D for another forward. My team is pretty cold now.

Kovolchuck =

Good thing he only costed me my 1st pick and not $100 million. NJ is in a World of hurt. The Leafs look like Stanley Cup contenders vs. NJ.

cause coaching is not the issue with the team.. its general lack of talent in the forward position.

GOOOOD. Trading a bunch of draft picks for Kessel when Boston was stuck with him was the WORST move ever (at the time...NJ & Kovolchuck is the worst). The Leafs were rebuilding. How good would we look now if we had kadri, seguin in the minors while tanking all the way to another high draft???????

kessel is still a solid pickup i say, even vs. a draft pick. no guarantee's with a draft pick remember. hall/seguin still not at crosby/ovie level at their age still. i know it sucks to lose picks, but i'd still have kessel anyday for guaranteed 30 goals minimum (more if he had help). mind you hall and eberle are on a shitty young EDM team now...it'd be nice to see one of them with a true star. it's this year's 1st rounder that is the real killer \:\( - 2 1st rounders was to much fosho!!!

i pray the leafs sign Brad Richards come feb!!! since we missed out on Nash last year.

The thing is, there was zero urgency to trade 3 draft picks away for a rebuilding team. IF we were contenders and we needed an extra sniper to put us over the top, then YES, its worth trading away the draft picks.

Burke = FAIL.

Derek Roy was a savior draft pick. Lucic has been a steady performer and good for the draft position. Kovolchuck is a bust...so was Burrows and Bieksa. I am amazed I am still 2nd. I got a SO yesterday to keep up with Bastard of Steel.

I guess with H2H, it doesn't matter as long as I am not at the very bottom. I was 1st all the way through for the baseball season and then my players started to fall off the map during the playoffs.
