So I am finally getting comfortable with the landscape/scenery/nature stuff. Focusing my skills now on people. So please shred this for me. It was shot at 2pm in harsh sun (not my choice). 5d3 with 70-200, f/2.8 for 1/1600 sec exposure.

Awesome pictures being posted!
Fireworks, my first time shooting them. These were just some in my Mom's driveway. Rokinon 8mm F3.5 on my APSC A77ii. I was shooting in Bulb mode with a remote between 50 and 160 ISO. Playing with the aperture on the lens, it was closed up at F24 for most of the shots. Some of the shots were still over exposed. Because of trees and stuff, I was only around thirty feet away.

Normally I LOATHE selective color, but I'm pretty sure this is exactly how this guy felt as he enjoyed a smoke watching Chicago city life go by.

Different angle, for one. If they're laying down, capture that they're laying down with more body. Also, she could have brought her left arm up to display the ring, maybe have it on his head or around his neck.
For engagement shots, always got to get the ring.
