Are the plugs for your MAP and TPS sensors reversed? They are both the same shape/size and are interchangeable.

Nope, the Si ECU should run it just fine. Even if you dont have the CKF sensor on the new motor, it should still run, just you'll have a CEL.

What year head, block, distributor, and ECU are you running?

Are you able to get the motor to idle, or does it run bad all the time?

It will throw a CEL but it will still run just fine.

How's the timing look on the motor, you have a light?

Kind of weird deal, What CEL's is it throwing now?

There aren't a whole lot of reasons why the motor would stall only when loaded, usally air starved/restricted or the MAP and TPS plugs are reversed as I suggested above.

The next steps I would take would be to verify the firing order is correct, check the ignition components, and for good measure I'd compression/leak test it.

That's kind of hard to answer without the car being physically here. Short Answer, It needs all the same pieces that the B16 did.

Ok, we might be onto something here...

Where is your MAP sensor located? Is it on the stock Throttle Body location?

Pull the throttlebody off of the intake manifold and compare the AEBS manifold to the stock one. Are all the same ports/passages in the manifolds?

I'm thinking that maybe the MAP sensor isnt seeing manifold pressure. Though, I've never had my hands on an AEBS manifold either.

Sorry man, without having the car nearby, I am fresh out of ideas.

Is it throwing any CEL's? If so, which ones?
