I used to have an 87 200SX 4-banger way back in high school. The suspension needs some serious work IMO. Every time I'd shift hard the rear end would slap the ground, which was sad considering how little power it had. Even bought some replacement springs and shocks to cure it but it still did it. The engine also spat a rod out the oilpan at like 120k. Honestly, with there being not much aftermarket for these, I think the amount of custom work you'd have to figure out you'd be better off holding out for more common project, even if it costs you more for the chassis. If you just want a difficult project to beat on with wrenches, then go for it I suppose...it's RWD and will take an SR20DET, so it at least has some measure of potential.
