wtf, that's quite the change.
George used to be a solid tv personality before he became as mainstream as he is. I don't watch much TV in general, but I saw him interview Bob Rae not too long ago and it was pretty sh!tty to watch, he didn't feel genuine. It's like watching that Rick Campanelli idiot on ET Canada, I am more focused on jumping through the TV and curb stomping him so he would STFU.

George definitely isn't bad, in fact I was a fan for YEARS back and then I recently saw the Bob Rae interview and I didn't know what to take away from it.
I was at the Italian Chamber of commerce awards 2 years back and Capanelli was the host, he acted the same as he does on ET Canada. Even the Italians were embarrassed.

he definitely enjoys hockey and talks about it quite a bit from the limited times Ive watched his show.
george is very well spoken and could easily handle cherry imho. but he cant bring his shows persona to hockey night in canada or he will get fried.
