I'm pretty stoked right now. This morning I tested my big three lifts and came up with 365 squat, 235 bench and 405 dead. I've been working toward this for a few months and it was slow going. Anyway just thought I'd share with some people that might find it interesting.
Here is a video of the 405 pull and a failed 375 squat.

I'm a big novice in lifting but that seems like a wide stance for deads, is that just a wide form variation? Does it help you lift more?
It's the sumo stance. I just started pulling that way last week and I like it. Prior to that I was failing at 405. I could get it about 10 inches off the ground but got hung up there.

your sumo isn't bad, you're just in a shit starting position. a lot of people think if you split your legs and just pull like normal that is sumo deadlifting. you're actually REALLY driving with your quads now.
this is pretty much the only person to get sumo deadlift advice from.
