Focus RS will push the CTR's shit in
Over and over again. Honda, what a joke always behind everyone for the past 10 years.

shrug. i'd take an rs with it's active rear diff + awd over a ff ctr putting down less power. i suspect pricing will be similar. brb going to ford XD
that said, i am excited to see how the ctr pans out

Agreed but it's good for everyone - more cars coming out with better performance and more power. I remember when I was excited to drive a 127hp civic hatchback lol.

I just built a 2016 Focus RS on Ford.ca, it came out to $56,121 taxes included.
MSRP $46,969 Total of Options $995 (blue paint) Total Fees $1,700 (AC tax and Freight) Available Incentives $0 Taxes $6,457 NET PRICE $56,121
Let's wait for CTR pricing since it is the same class as the RS
my guess is it'd probably be similar. honda usa and canada have to import them from the UK for resale, not sure how the $ works out behind the scenes but hopefully our crap dollar now doesn't big the price even more.
the fukus is an awesome car, love everything they did with it AND brought it here, should be epic battle for it vs. ctr. i heard some guys testing the RS already ran into issues with the diff or tranny? at least we'll know we'll see ctr's on the road after 5+yrs...the ford, probably not so much. :p
love how you can hoon the rs...that rwd *feelz* in an awd is awesome. im sure the ctr will be barrels of fun even as ff, with its own trick diff. usually what honda lacks in hp they make for in handling...it's been like that for years and so far that's the case with the ctr, let's see if it holds true when they hit the road. shit at least they have SOMETHING now worthwhile lol.
hopefully the Si turns out to be more "bang for the buck" for the average customer. it'd be great if it has the 2.0L turbo detuned...then some reflash and suspension mods, you have ctr/rs fighter for half the price. i'm sure we'll see tons of pre-mature worn diffs? haha...no idea if they'd use the same as CTR, my bet is no.
mind you 8/10 buyers of these cars won't see the track and the most beating they'll get is local roads and hwy driving lol.

^ in other news, been driving a tlx v6 awd with winters for a bit...man in the snow the past few days, thing is awesome. hammer it off a stop sign turning left or right, grips nicely to get you going (duh), feel the system working and gradually as you make the turn the tail slides out about halfway thru, just enough to make it faux-rwd for all of 3 seconds...lay off the gas and you're good to go. i was surprised how much bias went to the rear man my friend got the v6 sh-awd and i drove it the other day. thing boogies, it's actually pretty damn quick. i heard that it hooks like a mofo when you put it in sport + mode, activate the brake hold and floor it.
that it does.
