If I didn't post that first pic, I can't say I'd be as committed as I am. It made me feel like I had to answer to you fuckers.

"Before" was a mess, but was motivation to keep trying to reach my goal.
It might be different for others, but the "food issues" I was talking about is bulimia. I am still recovering from it, with a few relapses here and there. Me posting pics is just not going to help me progress any.
BUT, I promise I will once I get a few things settled It's just a difficult journey and sometimes a little touchy for me.

I had a feeling it was that when I heard "food issues".
I have a cousin who has struggled with it for 20 years. It's going to be tough for you to realize that what you see in the mirror and what is actually there are two different things. If you've been doing crossfit for this long, you likely look way better than you think.
I can see being hesitant to post pics on CSi, but this group has been VERY positive.

Yeah, I'd like to think that a woman is very safe from criticism in the fitness forum. Everyone's very nice to the dudes with their "before" pics and if there is criticism, it's constructive rather than malicious.
I mean, my first "before" pic was AWFUL and no one was mean about it.
We'd probably make a decent supplemental support group for you.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your kind words To be honest, one of the main reasons I HAD to deal with it, was my passion for Crossfit. It's almost physically impossible to do Crossfit and be bulimic at the same time (and go to school and work, etc.) There is a lot to it, and when I do a post in while, I will explain it all, for those that are interested.
I have been very fortunate to have a wonderfully supportive family and an excellent doctor. My crossfit coach's girlfriend is a nutritionist and she's been an excellent support for me for the last 5 months, and it really helps that she's a Crossfitter too, so she can help me with my eating for the sport I'm doing well, and look forward to telling my story, because it's going to have a happy ending

I need to get runners calves. My calves are strong but not the high and tight "balls" like a lot of runners.

Posting this for Dahlia and for t3H lulz:
Post-ride, helmet head, in my bike shorts-clad glory
(also attempting the Art flex )
I wish I could get those "squared-off" cyclist quads, but genetics seem to be preventing that. I'm more interested in function over form, so I'm not going to do a billion leg extensions to try to get them--especially if they don't make me faster.
I had a decent ride today. Did my usual loop that is turning into my little time trial. According to iMapMyRide,
18.41 miles in 1:08.36, average speed of 16.11mph on a moderately windy day. I love it when there's a moderate headwind on the way out, and the same headwind on the way back
Bit by bit, I'm getting faster. Empirically, I'm a slow cyclist, though.

This guys stache totally ruined my action shot! That dude doesn't even look like he's competing in the race. Like a spectator just started running so that he could get into the pic. lol he even has a sweater tied around his waist.
Yeah--as Howard Stern would say--he looks like a nudnick.

Fighting the good fight, babe.
Thanks.
Just wanted to show you that it's OK to drop a few inhibitions when it comes to pic posting.
If you told me last year that I'd be in bike shorts on CSi, I'd have lol'ed to death.

Thanks so much.
Yeah, very cool to see it starting to evolve before my eyes.
Still very motivated. I'm planning a solid hour on the mag trainer with probably 4 sets of pullups (off the bike, of course lulz) thrown in for good measure.
Yoga DVD on Sunday for "rest day".
