Nate suggested we make a 'For Sale' sticky and it sounded like a good idea at the time. This should be pretty self explanatory, but here are a few general guidelines just the same:

1. Photo/video related stuff only.
2. Include your asking price in the post.
3. If you're selling a long list of items, keep it updated as individual pieces sell.


Also, feel free to make Want to Buy (WTB) posts as well. Even if nobody here has the specific piece of equipment, there's a good chance someone could point you in the right direction (used on KEH, Adorama, etc).

Let me know if you have any other suggestions/ideas for this For Sale post or the forum in general

Per Scott, hands on moderation to delete posts for sold items. Great idea as this will keep the post current and short. So remember, if you've sold an item then mark it as SOLD in the original post.

I found one locally for $280 a while back but i couldnt bring myself to spend it since i had just gotten my tamron 17-50mm 2.8 not long before.

Dont know if it was the d version or not.

I think im gonna go for a russian 85mm 2.0 Jupiter -9 which is basically a russian clone of the vintage ziess 85 2

Trying to find a clean copy for under $100

I paid $400 for mine, but it was like new. I feel like it was money well spent, though obviously I would have liked to be a baller and get the 1.4 instead.

FS: AF Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 $200 (paid $250 for it used last spring)

It's pre-D, but on a lens this wide, what are you really losing?

Will trade for an AF 50 f/1.4 or MF 50 f/1.2 (if somebody has one laying around)

canon 70-200/4is in fantastic condition.

I have a 67mm hoya super hmc uv filter for it if you really want to give me some extra money, but i'll be straight with you: there's no point and it just fuckers the sharpness anyway because it's hella sharp.

$950 shipped for the lens, original box, manual, cards, bag, hood, caps. you're basically buying a 1200 dollar brand new lens for 950.

i've used the shit out of it but i'm not at the "finish shooting and chuck the camera 10ft through the open window of my car" phase yet.

reason for selling: felt like upgrading.

btw, if you have a chase account, they do no-fee paypal-style money transfers *fast*.
