I am disappoint. Just buy another SRT-4 or Neon and be done with it
buy a 10 year old srt4 and save even more on insurance cuz it's an old car? brilliant!

as far as i know we're getting our own north am. version, most likely coupe and maybe sedan. plans have been flip/flopping over the past year. i THINK we may say a 5dr hatch CTR (we're getting base models) but of course not the UK/euro spec one exactly. it'd be nice if they send us LHD versions of that one, straight up lol. well the coupe in the pic is of course prototype, it'll be much more 'toned down' for the final edition but still aggressive. i actually don't mind it vs. the hatch, looks decent...paint is a bit much lol, but again it's proto for 'wow effect' marketing. i know the design/build guys were aiming for next gen civic to be at a high level (see entry level audi area)...so we'll see. c2k, time to pay up   sorry i couldn't spill the beans lol...
what does the NA version look like? still need more specs. 50k civic? GTFO.

I still think c2k won't buy it
then pick my next car within the next year or 2. gotta replace my aging 03 civic. If it's going to be high 30s OTD, fine. but 45k OTD? yeah ok.
Think market segment. The CTR will price between a Focus RS and Golf R.
You think the CTR will sell for mid 30K after taxes? Doesn't a new Si cost low to mid $30K after taxes? So you can bet your ass the CTR will be high 30K or low 40K. But what do I know. I am not planning to buy one since I have the car I want for summer.
I really like the Ford Focus RS if I were in the market for a AWD Hot hatch

since honda is playing catchup in this case (who would have ever thought honda would be playing catchup in the hot hatch segment...), i think they need to position this car in the same space as the ST and the GTI for sure.
turbo fwd, good chassis, smart diff, then give it ~280hp with a starting price of 32k so that there's something to talk about.
get the payment under 500/mo and maybe, just maybe, honda can start getting younger buyers drooling again
