Thanks guys,
C2K - not selling underwear anymore, that was something a did a long time ago. I made my first line localy but when I tried to find a manufacturing overseas for my next line it became very difficult - I spent 3 years searching for a manu - that would meet my minimums and deliver to my standards - often times after months invested the manufacture would stop responding to emails, in the end I didn't feel comfortable laying out 10K plus hoping that they get it right.

OK guys, finally can post the update.
I contacted Lior Samphiru - after a good friend recommended me to call them. I was able to have a 30 minute phone call to discuss my case and ask any questions...this was the first lawyer willing to do this - most want close to 500 to meet with you and develop a strategy.
He looked over the package and told me that is was fair - 49 weeks and I could start work anytime and still get everything. However he did advise me to negotiate up to 52 weeks and he gave me some points to include. So I took his advice and was able to negotiate up the entire year and it didn't cost me a cent.
It's a small win but the extra cash will go towards start up funds for the business.

I screwed up with the way I was reading all of the lump sum payouts...basically ALL of the payouts equaled out to 49 weeks.

That makes more sense, the package you were being offered made no sense especially from a mega corp (which don't like bad press from employee terminations especiall), you presented the original package as if it was the equivalent of something some shady small business would do (my friend, can I offer you this MINT salvage title Jaguar? GREAT FAMILY CAR, ECONOMICAL).
Glad it all worked out.
Now invest in some reading classes

Ha ha yes I didn't know WTF all the lump sums ment in the beginning, but either way I knew that you never accept the first offer and thanks for everyone's input on this matter - an extra few weeks of cash is better in my hands than theirs.
Risky I like the analogy of the Mint salvage car...the timing chains are making noise on my car now so I can relate.

Now that CSI:ON has closure on Bozack's situation ... I'll eventually post up, as I got Bozack'd awhile ago...
I can't speak to much of it, as I signed two NDAs - one just prior to joining, and a second one as a 'settlement' when I got sacked, which, didn't go as planned. The language on the second NDA was quite formal, something I've never seen before.
Got some other things going on in life, so it'll take awhile for me to summarize, and filter/black-out some details.
Regardless, the market for my skillset is ok, and I found a job 6 days later, albeit the drive is sooper fucked; so, I'm looking again.

For mine it didn't say - were giving you 49 weeks - it said we're giving you a lump sum here because we have to, and over here we have to give you this, and over here we'll give you 26 weeks - some shit like that.
