YES! Expect all of that. My wife's Mazda became the kid moving appliance. I might as well have torched the thing after looking under the baby seats.

Pee accidents are fine. Its the vomit accidents that are the best. Either way, with both I've had to remove the car seats and completely disassemble them to wash them. Fun times.

sooooooooo... these accidents... is it common for this type of thing to end up all over the car, or does it typically stay in the bucket the kid's sitting in?

Well with pee it will run down to the seat. I have a pretty decent seat protector that has a lip. But it can only hold so much. I would imagine puke getting everywhere lol. Knock on wood, my daughter has never gotten car sick.

Parenthood is the most difficult, stressful, frustrating, and demanding thing you’ll experience. Its also the greatest thing in the world and nothing compares to it.

never had to deal with a pee or poop situation in the car with my daughter thankfully. one time in the RSX, was drivng south on 427 and she woke up suddenly out of her sleep and projectile vomited all over. pulled off the highway to some side street, pulled her out of the seat, found a bottle of water in the trunk, wiped her down and changed her clothes, wiped down inside as best as i could. managed to still drop her off and make it to work on time. left the car (it was summer) to start my shift but holy hell when i came back to it after 8 hours in the heat

Coming back home from Philadelphia last summer by car, we get to the Niagara boarder crossing which is backed up forever. One of the twins says she got to pee. Now with my kids, when it gets to the point they tell you this, it is not just an FYI but an urgent notice that things are about to get wet in seconds.

Nowhere to go, wife and I are scrambling looking at what plastic container we have to put under her and hope it doesn't spray everywhere. Luckily it wasn't too bad and after crossing over the boarder we pull to the restroom on the other side to clean and dispose.

My parents had an awesome sugestion. I bought an IKEA potty for each car. Saved me so many times when little one has to pee.

I know man I know. I was pissed I didn't come up with that idea lol. It's even good in the city and especially downtown since you can never find a goddamn pisser there unless "customer"

We have one in the van as well - life saver for road trips for sure (especially if they're just toilet training).

Good luck with everything tonight - hope it all goes well!
