Lol. The highlight the first week my first son was born was going to Walmart to buy diapers. I made sure I took my time and looked at stuff in a few departments.
It doesn't seem like it, but it will get better...eventually.

Friend of ours has a <6mth old. Child does NOT sleep during the day unless she is held, no exceptions. The mother looks like walking death |

Thankfully so far she is super chill and doesn't cry unless hungry/needs diaper change. As long as those two are good she will pass out for 2-3 hours.
The tough part is managing everything since my wife isn't able to do much, can barely walk so it's kind of like taking care of two babies at the same time

Just did a walmart run, definitely took the looooooooooooooooooooooooong way there and back

HahahahahEnjoy it. Besides sleep everything else is great! I remember how excited I was to see poo when my oldest one didn't poo for a week. I thought something was wrong, but it's very common if child is breastfed

I drove to monteral and back in a day, 14 hours. My wife said "why don't you take someone with you" Na i am good. "do you want me to come with you" na i am good.
14 hours of just me and the radio, that hasn't happened in 5 plus years lol It was great.

Totally going to keep enjoying sleeping in and going out at night. The fiancée is already taking all the vitamins, etc.....she is ready for launch after the wedding. (We've been together for 6 years plus so I guess its time)

 They are!

Fuck, this waiting game for the kid is driving me nuts... Every time I'm out and see a baby, I can't help but to yell out "BABYYYYY!!!!" People are starting to look at me funny.....

Anyway, so is there a particular video on youtube you peeps are basing your swaddle technique on?

I remember the first few weeks, my wife and I were thinking, "shit, this isn't so bad...why does everyone say it's hard?". Then all hell broke loose and the kid was no longer just sleeping and feeding.

Thanks guys, they are heaven and hell at the same time. Fill me with joy but we have some vids on my wife's phone where they are in their high chairs trying to feed and both are screaming their lungs out. This happened so often we took the vid to see if it was actually normal or if something was wrong with them
They eventually grow out of all the issues and become somewhat normal people.
