I have 2 of these because it works so well, takes 15 seconds? to make a perfectly mixed bottle of formula for the next 3000 bottles (365 * 8?).

1 at home. 1 at MIL's because was visiting often and soon realized how I missed the machine at home. We used formula from Germany because all of the formula in North America is loaded with unnecessary sugar... they come in bags and are a bitch to scoop out of.

FYI on Baby Formula since you are concerned with your family's well being as you consume organic fruits when you can. This women is very extreme as we cannot practically live in a life like hers but if you can easily adjust your diet, why not? Holle and HiPP are the 2 most recommended brands and they are both from the EU but I think if you want something local, the Honest brand is not bad.

Wow that's some major helicopter parenting. I often wonder how the fuck did my parents survive after they were born. And how did babies survive before formula!!!

You know it's bad when the fancy baby brezza kettle parent calls the fancy baby brezza formula maker guy a helicopter parent.

1. Breastmilk

2. Baby Brezza is about convenience... why don't you use fire (ok that's extreme) / stove and a pot to boil your water instead of your fancy 90F water dispenser (btw that retails for $70 USD whereas a formula maker is only $100 more)? I just used what I had, a typical Asian hot water dispenser (195F) and add cold water to make it ~ 98F.

3. The world wants cheaper goods, so manufacturers are finding ways to deliver cheaper goods. Do you buy bleached garlic from China? You and your parents probably ate food grown locally. Nowadays, food comes from China, where they still heavily use chemicals like DDT.

And there I was roaming around Asia for two weeks staying in 5* hotels and flying at the front of the plane, eating $200 lobsters and $20 dumplings.

Kids?

I get it. Having kids is not for everyone. It takes a strong will and mentally stable person.

You can still do all that.

I'll gladly give up my seat for this guy.

Another product that's pretty cool, this baby bjorn thing. Turns out we got one that I found this week, put kid inside, kid proceeds to pass out instantaneously.

It has a neck/head brace thing (folded over in this pic) that you can use for newborns.

Yeah I missed the memo too. We have taken my daughter on 5 trips so far and we are going to Hawaii this summer.

We still travel the same as before... almost, except now we have to factor in what will keep the kid happy on the trip.

+1... people often ask why don't we leave our son with the in-laws

I want to bring my son to travel together with me and go to places that I've never experienced like Disney, Legoland, etc...

Yup. I want to expose my daughter to as much as possible. I didn't really get to experience any real traveling till adulthood.

The only place where she won't be going with us is to Tahiti :p

It really is great timing from that perspective, wife definitely needs to get out more.

Is it normal that she is almost outgrowing her bassinet? Just over a month old, when she is stretched out there are a few inches left wtf

Yup, that's why people say not to go crazy on newborn clothes. They will outgrow it before you even get to put them in it.

Is it good that your 1 year old wears 2 year old sized clothes?
