Ebgames website was a crapshoot as usual (kept crashing).
I lucked out and got a preorder in store when they opened 
Ordered the red/blue version. However, the system was messed up and listed it at 999 rather than 399. Curious to know if anyone else in here is up on this.

Best part of having a teenage son, I can keep playing video games with him without feeling old. Sorry that you gais feel old. If I lived in Hamilton I'd probably stay inside playing video games too.
but he can go to costco to get new ones. It's within the city limits.

Meh I have both Xbox One, PS4 Pro and PSVR and I'm old and do a shit load of stuff still (no kids however). I don't have much time for it but I think I will always play video games in some way
I didn't buy the Nintendo however

i havent played video games in years but perhaps I make pick up a switch. No pre-order bs for me tho. When its in stores, and theres some actual games to play then i'll possibly pick one up.

Damn it, the more i read about launch titles the less I care.
Considering selling my preorder down the road unless more announcements are made.
Though, the unit is cool as hell.
2.5hrs run time when in portable mode is not good at all though.
Nintendo advertises "2.5 to 6 hours" based on game. Likely 2.5 is realistic. Bah. Vita still better.

It's 399. Not compatible with wii and wii u, as it uses downloaded media (thus far it's been shown it has 32gb internal and an expandable micro sd). The actual game media may be solid state as well. Def no optical.
