I saw a CAAA plate the other day, yet some offices haven't sold all their B series plates yet. Certain words will never form as they skip many letters, to avoid confusion between two similar looking characters and probably to avoid curse words from forming easily. You will never see a G I O U Q but you can use them in a personalized plate. Never understood the need to go 7 digits other than to keep plate numbers sounding rythmic. Letter Letter Letter Letter Number Number Number. Easier to remember the plate number when some one robbed your quikie-mart before the days of high res cameras everywhere. Quebec mixes letters and numbers and has been able to retain their old plate look which I much prefer. I'm still upset with myself for not transfering my first cars ownership and 6 digit metal painted plates out of my grandmothers name and into mine before I scrapped the car to keep the vintage plates active as long as possible. You can repaint those old plates and keep them alive forever unlike this new plastic shit that delaminates after a few seasons.
