Noticed something INTRESTING yesterday. Watching city tv news and they had 3 stories in a row about:

Toronto fire needs more diversity
Toronto police needs more diversity
TDSB needs more diversity


I guess DEM WHITE FOLK still protect jobs pretty well eh

The white man has been getting bent over for a couple of decades now. We work harder than anyone to get to where we are because are always passed up for minorities (even though we are the minority).

Diversity in a city like this is overrated. It's not like we're in some hick town in the US. Have those folks ever thought that maybe minorities don't want to do those jobs? Tell me how many brown or yellow parents are telling their kids to be cops or fireman. Lol. Doctor, programmer, etc or bust.

Toronto fire i can definitely see. White males with a handful of white females here and there. I don't think i have seen a non white fireman in T.O.(paramedics yes). Now if my house is burning down I really don't give a shit what race you are, only if you can do the job.

Becoming a fireman is the equivalent of winning lotto max, it's the most overpaid and underutilized service and it's all held by the good old boys crew. Pretty sure it's harder to get into Fire than it is to land a gig at Goldman Sachs...if that tells you anything.

Having to deal with rescuing people from burning and crashed cars, I can see why they get paid. I don't want to see bleeding people let alone bones sticking out, burning, limb missing etc.
Went to a junk yard many years ago, saw a crashed minivan with blood stain everywhere.
Watering the hot house with a hose is one thing, I can't deal with injured people.

That's less than 5% of their cars, 95% are fake alarms/bullshit calls.

What about the paramedics/cops that ACTUALLY have to deal with the people with the bones sticking out and all that shit, they are the ones doing the actual work not the firemen. Yet paramedics are in a garbage collection union, lol diversity doe

They deal with that too ya, especially paramedics, but they signed up for that.
As far as I can tell without stats, firemen are the first ones at the accident scenes.

Even the calls they show up on they aren't needed, they aren't even requested and they still show up just to "stay busy". It's a joke and costing tax payers a ton.
