Gorgeously smooth. Not contrasty enough for the b&w stuff, BUT beautiful for color. There's a school of thought that thinks modern lenses, with all their scientific advances, have become too sharp. I think this lends credence to that argument. It slides from being in-focus to out of focus just wonderfully.
