Don't want to jinx it, but I checked in my bike in Porto and I didn't get charged anything again.
So looks like bringing the bike was "free" after all. I have no idea if it's because of the plane ticket and seats or if it's because it's low season. I am also scared to ask.

Nm, I can't believe I was just feeling awesome for: flying to europe business class looking awesome in a suit while there and then going for solo bike ride in beautiful european country
And then you did literally the same damn thing (but rode further because badass).
I also think we were probably avoiding the same weather system (I rode the one day without hail/lightning forecast for the area).
