I feel like I'm that low (actually nearly vertical)
  I've heard the hood/flat fore-arms is actually better than full drops for aero.
  Still, full drops gives that break control I love.

  When i raced short track xc at nationals, i had a 191 avg for 33min. I thought i was going to die, my teeth fucking ached when i was done lol

  I'm agree, my trainerroad rides show up on strava instantly. If my garmin rides don't show up on strava it's like it never happened.  It's not even worth riding the bike at this point.  No strava no ride.

In a pinch you can always manually grab the .fit file or whatever your watch natively uses and manually stuff it on strava (manual /add file)
