I too don't mind the new civic. Actually, it's grown on me quite a lot. Not a bad car for the money.
Dunno what the problem is (other than snap rings). I'll say this: I'd rather spend 16k on a civic than like, almost 40k for a 320 trollolololol

It's true doe. pls tell me how a 320 is worth 40k. A civic has tons of value even at 20k. Feature wise, it can be spec'd out very similar to what a 320 has. It is more reliable, more fuel efficient, and probably just as fast too XD

i prefer the bmw interior over the shitvic... and besides, isn't the civic's competitor the 2 series (which doesn't really change the price point factor.. lol)? and not the 3?.. wouldn't the 3 be more of an accord level?

Edit to match your edit. Yes Accord vs 3 series is closer. Even then the 3 is positioned (and priced) upmarket.

Okay, I buy a BMW expecting my rod bearings are going to need replacing, or I am going to need to go through 7 generations of both HPFPs and injectors. But Honda? Honda you just plain suck now. way to go einstein  lol blanket statement is blanket.  of note too which is interesting...hyundai's also seen quite a hit with recalls too lately. seems when cars were simpler for them (anyone really) there was less shit to go wrong. co's are pushing out cars/tech so fast so much shit to take care of after if it isn't right...ugh.
Our issues really started happening when they increased US production. Almost every issue we have, especially with brand new cars is all American built cars. The quality difference between the Korean built and US built cars is incredible.

Just because the engine was built in Japan, the quality control of the local workers putting the car together (sensors, seats, panels, etc.) are nothing compare to cars that was built in Japan or Korea. Not bashing the unionlized workers or anything (I know nothing about them), it just felt the assembly job was sloppy

What is it you like about the 3 series interior? Can't be ergonomics, the civic wins in that department. Must be the better plastics then.
