I'm good. The impact to IT who support the block that was sold should be fairly minimal. Most of the affected folks will be on the business side (claims, customer service, underwriting etc.)
CN: Brown ppl and some asians are safe, others are not

that's what i'm hoping for .. 11 months of severance, bitches!
i'm in a very cushy spot -- though it's no wayne money, and the hours suck a lot -- but i can come and go / wfh when i want on days that aren't critical; with the new sr. dir. (3 levels up from me) - i can go straight to him and bypass mid-management to cite my concerns -- so i get the right folks to fire fight the problem and get shit done.
jumping to a different role in a few months, hoping to get more work-life balance back -- once the young one is in grade school; will consider looking elsewhere again if i can't level up by then.
