I don't know, I've had older guys burn me pretty good when I was running 20:xx lol. You got this man, don't let age make you feel as you can't hit that 19:xx.
So I've hit a plateau. I have not dropped from 231-232 for a good 2 weeks now. I'm under 2k calories a day with cardio 3-4 times a week along with lifting. Now I will say there may have been some days where I've gone slightly over but not by much but I've done cardio in the evenings to balance it out.
Also seems as though I'm sitting at around 28-29% bf. Brutal.

Everybody hits a plateau or goes backwards, I'm stuck at 190# right now, and am at 15% BF
Basically my goal I guess. I don't mind going up in weight again (I've weighed in as low as 184 probably dehydrated tho) as long as BF drops and I'm sure you agree)
I was 215 about 3-4 yrs ago and really chubby hah, probably close to 30% BF
I was hoping someone could answer a question for me or be able to provide a link where I can read up on the subject myself. Since I'm in a deficit does consuming 175-200g of protein going to make that big of a difference in muscle preservation or is that a myth?
Weighed in at at 226 lbs this morning. Considering I had a sizeable thanksgiving meal and drank a bit for the first time in months I think 226 isnt too bad. Fell short of my goal for today but aiming for 221-224 by the end of next week.
I have had turkey cuts and that lasted a few days. I think the main source of protein I've been able to stomach consistently, is rotisserie chicken, eggs and protein shakes(only because I just chug it quick)
Sitting around 218-219. I maybe able to make the 215 by the end of the year. I've come a long way this year. 297 to 219. I'm going to guess I'm around 25% bf. I'm hoping I can see my abs by summer but it may take me dropping to 180-190. I'll see how it goes. If not lower.

I figured once a couple of days passed after Sundays big cheat day I'd go down a bit. 1 more lb to hit my yearly goal of 215. Might as well aim for 214 by the first.
Yeah... so after weeks if not months (besides last Sunday) I had back to back cheat days. Damn did it feel good but I feel like shit. Feeling bloated but to be expected from Chinese food. Gained about 8lbs lol. Water + high sodium so I'm hoping I can still make it to 214 by the first.
