Put the summer toys away and prepped the winter beater.

AWD Goodness!!! Snow tyres ordered and on the way.


Swapped the tyres out and put the storage tyres on the Rustang.

315's in the rear. Holy hell, these things didn't look this wide.


Side by side. Stock vs Summers. 245 vs. 315


Flushed fluids and cleaned up the engine bay a bit.


A few shots before I put it away.




And how it sits now. GNSP See you next summer.

Is that a matrix? I drove one of those to Miami - versitile cars.

Mustang looks good - I think I see silver mesh in the grill - I would black that out.

Coils have been raised and the snow tires put on.. I gotta replace the rear axle bushings now, they are clunking like mad!

anyone need a beater?
i wanna sell my wifes 2007 SX4 sport JLX 4wd (with low range!), 5spd manual, all power options, i think it has about 75,000km on it. She has owned it from new
all maintance up to date, new front brakes, it has been battered around, has dents, scratches, broken antenna and has had the rear bumper replaced. it has had zero issues, like nothing at all go wrong. Super reliable.
Comes with new general altimaxx winters on spare rims, and new Continetals on stock wheels.
i was thinking like 5-6k

Winter beater not found. Snow tires and common sense prevail. Deep snow can be trouble though.

I always like Hankooks. Good in snow but better yet good in dry and doesn't feel "squishy" (that you'll be driving in most of the time)
