What's your go to beer you'd get a 24 without hesitation.
No beer in the house and I wanna try something new.

My current go to beer
Stella Artois

Used to get but tired of
Corona
Sleeman products
Horgardenene
zywiec
Becks
Boehimwan
Rickards

Don't like
Groush
Pilsner Urquell
Sapporo
Keith
Bud
Moosehead
Canadian
Blue
heineken ( I used to like it but now I find it bitter)
Guinness

I am sure I am forgetting a bunch.

i am actually allergic to beer. the only one i can drink is corona and even then i'd have to take an allergy tablet before hand.

Steamwhistle is my go to. trying to support the local business.

Mill Street Stock Ale or Organic

Molson Old School Pilsner...apparently it's a prairies thing lol

if you really want to try something new, go hit up Bellwoods or Indie Ale House and get a sampler.

Also Coors Light or Coors Banquet.

It varies all the time. I don't prefer getting a 24 as I like every beer to be a new taste experience, but I like some polish beers enough to get a bunch at once. Warka is good.

I'm in the process of getting some u brew beer done now. 23l for $55 ain't bad

Note I'm sharing this with brother and father

Ya I used to get 6 or 12, but since I planted on Stella, I started getting 24. Plus, you save like $10 getting the 24 compare to four 6 packs.

you should hit up the LCBO. Expand your taste buds trying some micro's and rarer options, rather than buying macro stuff.
Lots to explore.

Mill ST is a good bridge to that world. They have some (Better) offerings you would be used to and some more adventurous things.

Creemore is also a solid local choice.

Lady friend just picked up a case of MGD, graet patio beer but it's gotta be cold. Mill Street is good to, BIL usually has that in the house. I haven't been drinking much beer lately (Forty Creek + diet coke for me)

I try to stick to one beer kind or I end up getting some bad hang overs Coors light/corona are my safe bets if I think I may drink a lot and need to be normal the next day

I don't drink the same beers anymore. I make frequent trips to lcbo to try out different type of beers. Over the weekend I had great lake brewery canuck pale ale which was damn tasty. Last night I had innis and gunn rum finished and that's also tasty.

I find the big box beers are bland and watered down and im noticing I like my beers dark and bitter.

Do I buy a case of 2-4 ?no not anymore. Usually a 6 pack and that'll last me for a night or a couple of nights.

Steam Whistle Pilsner, Mill Street Brewery tank ale are some of the others.

Won't drink molson, coors, mgd, labatts etc now, maybe when I was 18

Hmmmmmm where to begin!

My current favourite is Silversmith Black lager.

I don't really have a single beer that I'll buy all the time because I love getting different micro brews. My go to beer locally is Barking Squirrel(where it's available)

Other honorable mentions that I can think of are:

Innis & Gunn
Mad Tom IPA(2nd fav beer)
Boneshaker
Holy Smoke
Shocktop(for hot days)
Oast House(all of them)

So many beers so little time!

Currently have Sapporo at home.

Usually I get one of:
- stella
- keiths
- ricard's red
- ricard's white (summer)
- keith's white (summer)

Going out w/ friends / co-workers to your typical restaurant chains it's usually one of the above or if they have a wider selection i'd get (the ones higher on the list are my go-to's lately):

- shock top
- mill st. organic
- beau's lug tread
- hoegarden (sp?)

Not sure if it's old age, but I can't seem to drink as much beer as I used to (feel bloated); would prefer a good single malt (if the budget allows or if work is compting with drink tickets \:D )

I just grabbed some for this past weekend. It had been quite a while and now I remember why. Its terrible. Made with corn garbage.

obviously I got through it(Because im not a pussy like the OP) but it is actually really crappy beer.

pretty much all the big macros you see stacked high at the beer store are really terrible products.

Yeah, it's not the greatest by any means, but I'm not much of a beer snob (Unless we're talking stouts, but those aren't very refreshing in summer, lol)

I don't mind Mill Street or Steam Whistle.

all the macros are the same, but they're often the most available or have the best sale lol

If you're ever out in Niagara on the Lake, stop by a place called Garrison House. The chick who runs it was a brewmeister in TO for years. She only serves local/micro brews.

Plus Oast House and Silversmith are right down the street.

This thread is funny.. I don't kick many beers out of bed, I like 'em all. On the weekend had 4 of us building a deck Saturday, bought a case of Busch light, bud, and moosehead, had 5 beers left in the morning.

Micros that are giving me a boner lately:
Side launch
Anything from Lake of Bays brewery
Hop City 8th sin

But any given Saturday I'll grab a box of busch light, coors, or old style Pilsner to go over to a buddies and drink 10.

Coors Lite, Michelob Ultra, Mill St Organic, Heineken, Steam Whistle or Guinness when I drink beer.

Johnnie Walker Black is what I typically drink though.

Quality > quantity ;\)
4 of us bought a 24 when we went camping for 3 days.
Brought back like 10. 2 were girls though.

At home I drink a bottle with a certain meal once every week or two.
Could be two a week or one a month. Totally random.

I bought 4 bottles of Lug Tread today.
Didn't try cause had no one to share with. #Foreveralone

If you're ever out in Niagara on the Lake, stop by a place called Garrison House. The chick who runs it was a brewmeister in TO for years. She only serves local/micro brews.

Plus Oast House and Silversmith are right down the street.

If you're in NOTL, you drive over to NY and buy as much Nitro Milk Stout and Sam Adams Cream Stout as physically possible \:\)

Lol I keep forgetting about that when I go over! I live like 5 minutes from the Q/L border. I'll pm you before I go so you can remind me hahah.

This is where I go.

My go to is Coors Light, Corona
I am slowly exploring different brands I see for sale at LCBO

I prefer Somersby Apple Cider for summer months

My wife would drink more than that alone in two days of camping. Do you even day drink, bro?

I also like buying from the local brewery, Forked River, here in London. There's another one that just opened downtown called Toboggan, its a kitchen, bar, brewery, and beer store all in one. That's exciting. And their beer store hours are Monday - Sunday until 11pm.

Also forgot shout outs to Creemore Springs and whoever makes Hobgoblin and that Bannana Bread beer. \:\)
