Rate my tire choice... it's narrowed down to 4. (List compiled based on Screamin's brand feedback above, and TireRack survey results, which are all similar to the BFGs)
185/65/R15... I have separate Michelin Xi3 winters...
1) BFG Advantage T/A @ $115/tire, $590 tax+install - $50 MIR
2) Yoko Avid Ascend 86T @ $112.5/tire, $580 tax+install - $50 MIR?
3) Falken ZE950 AS 88H @ $87.5/tire, $460 tax+install, no MIR
4) Kumho Solus KR21 @ ??/tire. - $32 MIR for the set. ** Guessing the cheapest of all 4. (TireRack is $60/tire, compared to BFG's $72 Yoko $80)
Currently rocking the BFGs... They seem fine
They slip from a start if it's wet outside, but pretty much all 4 tires listed have decent treadlife, and have similar survey results from TireRack.com ...
Price is a factor as the EL's nearing end of life...
Leaning towards the Yokos or Kumhos ... BFG's I've already tried...
