We usually have one of these threads around this time of year. So I guess I'll start.
- Run the marathon in under 4 hours, injury free
- Complete an Olympic Tri
- Work in some additional upper body strength training

Pretty low key for me next year. How about y'all?

I'm so close I can taste it. I can lift myself from halfway to the top, but don't have the strength to go from bottom to halfway.

PR at Way Too Cool 50k (4:45ish) in March
Run sub 3:10 at Boston in April to requalify for '16
Run somewhere around 12 hours at the Quicksilver 100k in May and secure my '16 Western States lottery tickets
Run a beer mile
PR at a 5k (sub 18:30)

Debating on cutting and doing some significantly more hardcore training to get my speed up on the bike. It's a double edged sword, if I drop to 185lbs i will be a beast on the bike, but my lifts and everything else will suffer. When I got down to 195ish this summer, I was noticeably "weaker" \:\(

2500 miles on the bike while maintaining end of winter strength level. Carry that into next winter when bulking will start back up and go from there

National qualifying times in 50,100 free, hopefully A standard. Outside shot at 100 breast and 100 IM.

Olympic tri sub 2:45 (should be easy)--2015 will be the first time at this distance since college. Hoping to have the speed to go around 22:00 on the 1500m swim leg (I'll get a pool time to verify this is a big thing for me as I've avoided anything over a 200 unless I was being punished for something )
Swim the golden gate instead of Alcatraz this year
Half marathon sub 2h in SF (hilly, should be a bitch, I am slow and new to running and the bridge backs up)

Thinking about a half iron on a flat course.

Should do a century in 2015 and maybe a marathon or at least a long training run >20 miles
Drop 8# of fat to hit <15% bodyfat

Surf every weekend
Smell like chlorine whenever I run
Get chloresterol under control

Run a 5k faster than cheesegoggles \:D

It's measured by stroke length. The rower keeps a tally.

1. get shredded and be 200+ lbs
2. get a 1RM on bench of 385+
3. rep 315 for 5+ on bench
4. if i can get my form down and not hurt myself everytime i deadlift, I would like to pull 550+
5. 405+ front squat, since I can't backsquat with my shoulder the way it is would be awesome

Run more--and not get injured

Work on the abs more--although I'll be 43 in May, so that might be out of the question at this point

Throw down some better TT times this summer

Come closer to a 6 hour century this summer

Just committed to my first cyclocross race on 1/11. Hopefully we don't get buried in snow before then.

My goals in a (pretty) nutshell. Mt Werner Classic was just cancelled for 2015 so that one is off the list and San Juan Solstice suddenly went to a lottery for the first time so that's not a sure thing anymore.

Let's see--did a decent amount of running, but took some time off from it over the summer. Didn't get hurt, though.

Core is the same.

TT didn't run this summer--different club who couldn't get insurance. Allegedly coming back under the shop that originally ran it.

Century was slow this summer--hilly.

Did a few cyclocross races.

I never got to do the Olympic Tri so added it again for this year. If I can afford a decent bike, probably step up to a Half Ironman late in the year or early 2017 (Oceanside?).

Other than finishing the 100k, I didn't hit a single one.

I did get fitter and overall had a great year though, so I'm pretty content. ;\)

2381.4 recorded miles on the bike, quit lifting in June to focus on it. Doing both seems impossible to me \:\(
