 Although I agree with Johnny 100% that's what and where I stan . That's why I'm pretty bitter and frustrated when it comes to everything being jacked up and every time commodities goes up and not my pay which means I have to spend more fucking hours working JUST TO LIV . FUCK Not a faux baller here but i try my best to provide a comfortable lifestyle for my son and I and frankly its getting unbearable

Agreed, you can only *manage* what is in your control, being serious now as I was trolling Hator earlier 
Increasing income is great, but I feel like we are a bunch of rats on a wheel and the "government" keeps bumping up the speed into perpetuity...those of us who manage to outpace it monetarily stay on, but most fall and that is an issue even as a higher earning individual one cannot ignore.
It will eventually affect all of us, but truth be told I really don't know what can be done aside from full fledged government revamp from top to bottom (could be worse for sure, look at the US  ). Neither government will *fix* any of this so it's almost as if we have to stay ignorant to what's happening and enjoy living in our perfect bubbles - which is what most of us are doing while some are more aware than others. 
Beats lining up for milk and bread for 3 days doe.

Meh at the end of the day it doesn't matter how much gas is if you need it. Don't like the price, Start your own well? i kinda agree. gas goes up by 10cents, 20 cents, even 30 cents wtf you gonna do? i'm still driving my car. I might agree with you if we didnt have a circus for public transit. "wtf you gonna do" ... food prices up too. "wtf you gonna do" ...housing prices are jacked "wtf you gonna do" ...daycare is fucked "wtf you gonna do" . ...and most peoples wages have stagnated in comparison to all these rising costs.(There is lots of data to back that up.) So now what? Now you have people carrying record level debt. And its not because they are beating each other up to buy dynex tv's. People should be outraged and speak up about the ridiculousness of this. Not just quietly take it up the ass. People arent saving much (if at all either). Also, there arent many pensions around and OAS isnt enough to live on. So wtf is it going to do to the "system" when these people retire?! Despite you needing to bootstrap yourself, we are still all in this together. Thats fine if you make enough money for this not to be an issue. But for most of the population these are very important issues. What are drivers behind all this? Global economy yada yada and all that. All of the above,thats fine. But you can't let things get out of hand for the general populaton. I feel its like when some of you get to a certain income level where some of these things are less of a concern you (forget and) completely become decoupled from reality and figure its easy for others to reach the level you may be at. When that is not the case. Prices(as a whole) need to be kept in check relative to incomes or else this place becomes not very desirable/affordable to live(we are there already). The reality is most people dont make 6 figures, so while in itself it may not be a lot these days(its not really), its still much better off than the majority.
you are bang on about the transit system being a joke, making driving a necessity, especially when buying in toronto is retarded and you have to move out north, or west or east, but we already know this.
rising costs are a problem, dat tdot life, daycare, fuel, housing etc. but you can't ignore the fact that alot of people live beyond their means. alot of people still want that new iphone with data, that new xbox, that new purse; and there's nothing wrong with that imo. the problem is that alot of people don't want to work for it.
if i were wanting all that kind of shit and didn't have money to support it, i'd get another job, or make the effort to get a better job and make more money that supports my lifestyle. ofcourse there's that gray area between wants/needs.
use the majority of us here as an example, we have daily beaters so that our fancy car doesn't get used. tell that to a new immigrant family and they will think you're cocked. seems like theres a couple options to living in toronto: 1) make lower money, live like a hermit 2)make lower money and ball out and be up to your eyeballs in debt 3)make decent coin, ball out, and bitch about how expensive everything is and 4) make wayne money and take private walmart jets
