ah cool lol. I wonder if nato would let us draft him on the bike [possibly w/use of a rope/as necessary]. would gladly trade a free draft on the swim \:D

That's why I'm going back to LA this year. Did the bucket list. Got a faster time at OC for family bragging rights. Now want the sub-4 hour time.

a marathon is like what... 1/3 as hard as an IM?

I'm thinking a 70.3 or [2] in 2015
a 26.2 [or 2] in 2016
a 140.6 in 2017
and then return to swimming and never, ever go past a 70.3 again [and never run a 26.2 again, either for that matter]

Possibly February 7/8 - IBJJF Houston Open. American Grappling Federation and Kozen Fighter do not have 2015 schedules up yet so I don't know when they will be. I only competed 4 times this year so I need to step it up next year.

Like anything else...to get better/faster. It wasn't ever a bucket list item for me.

I'd think that after Leadville, a full IM would be child's play to you. I was just thinking about that yesterday for some reason

haha whoever gets to do the swim leg of an IM should be forced to wear a skirt the whole day or something \:D [1 hr effort vs 4-5+]

the full IM Louisville or at the very least half IM Muncie, Indiana is a goal of mine. Im there on the run, but I have a hard time training for the swim and bike with a 13 month old.

*side note* I read Dean Karnazes' Ultramarathon Man:Confessions of an all-night runner a couple years back, and it gives great motivation and insight on some badass runs (saw Ironmom posted the Western States)

Get a trainer and set that sucker up in the living room while the baby naps. Thats how I got all my bike training in for my 4 full IM's.

Cant help with the swimmimg part though...gotta get to the pool somehow. \:D

I'm more excited for 2015 than I've been for a season yet. I even made a new wallpaper for myself

May: Quad Rock 50M (11,572')
May: Golden Gate Dirty 30 50K (7,250')
June: San Juan Solstice 50M (12,856')
July: Mt Werner Classic 50K (6,300')
August: Squamish 50M (11,000')
September: Run Rabbit Run 100M (21,000')
November: JFK 50M (2,000')

4x 50M, 2x 50K and 1x 100M and just over 70,000' of vertical gain. It's gonna be an awesome summer of mountain shenanigans

is that the name? BC bike race? lol ill have to look it up.

id really like to do a MTB stage race like breck epic or pisgah stage race but the 600+ dollar entry fee plus travel expenses kinda puts a big negative on that unless i can get sponsor help. cant justify dropping a grand on one race
